St Ives

Unlike today, which has been unseasonably sunny and hot, our holiday was mainly camping in the rain. However there were a couple of days that were lovely and the sea at St Ives is a truly gorgeous colour. This was painted in a square watercolour sketchbook I made a couple of years ago.

First day of our camping holiday

I've only just found the time to scan my holiday sketches. A rainy week camping in England doesn't quite match the pleasure of sailing in Greece, and it's difficult sketching in the rain, but I still have a few more sketches to scan and post.

Nordic walking in Heartwood Forest, every Friday

A great venue for walking as my One Mile from Home project shows. And Nordic walking is a great way of exercising more than simple walking. I may give it a go myself.
