St Ives

st_ives_title_web

Unlike today, which has been unseasonably sunny and hot, our holiday was mainly camping in the rain. However there were a couple of days that were lovely and the sea at St Ives is a truly gorgeous colour. This was painted in a square watercolour sketchbook I made a couple of years ago.

Hello. I am new to blogging (in fact this is my first attempt) so I am not sure if you wil get this. I saw your one mile from home sketches a year or so ago and was so intrigued that I looked up the Urban Sketchers and started following them. Now I have just got a blog and am wondering what to do with it. Especially how to put images (sketchbook) on it. Anyway, thank you for (unwittingly) starting me off on this adventure.
(I am not sure if I am supposed to sign off so in case I am my name is Julia Stubbs, Barnhousebirdie@aol.com
and my blog name is Nifty or it might be Nifty-julia as I got into a muddle with it !

Hi Julia. You need to scan your pictures. Either with a scanner or take digital photos of them. Save the files to your computer and then in blogger, when you create a post there is a little icon of a picture at the top of the box. If you hover over you will see it says insert image. You then find your way to the image on your computer, select the image and hey presto it's in your post.
