As a confirmed republican I am delighted that for the first time ever, at least one of my friends might make a little bit money out of the very expensive over-privileged monarchy we have in this country. The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.

As an Aussie you can imagine how some of us feel about that privileged foreign family. As a child I collected Royal Family pictures but in at least one way I have matured since then! What's the fuss about a wedding. I wouldn't walk over the road to see them!
