How to get half a million teenagers out of bed before midday

ucas_screen_shot
The sound of Tom pounding away at the refresh key trying to get onto the UCAS website woke us up this morning. After an hour of trying he eventually succeeded. We were so pleased that we didn’t need to put on our ‘cheerful-because-we-really-aren’t-disappointed’ faces. Fantastic news – and for us parents only one university to drive to.

Oh Congratulations Tom!!
NOw for the hard work or perhaps not.
Julie there is I suppose light at the end of the tunnel, still paying fees and nothing coming in and Xavier way down at the end of them all.
Think of you often, wish we were coming back, not a hope in hell, we are fast running out of money and this season is not a good one either. Who would be a farmer with debts. Feel guilty sometimes that I insisted we went away, but at least there are lovely memories.

Oh, well done, Tom.

I am just so pleased and happy for you all. And it WILL be simpler driving to just one school for the parents.
