Lunch in the woods

Sausages and toasted marshmallows in the woods. Hugo and Xavier practiced tightrope walking and played hide and seek, Robin cooked and Flo posed while I sketched. The silence of aeroplane-free skies, birds singing and a perfect sunny, spring day.

This is what I call Real Living, Julie. I am so glad that you all had this perfect day, together.

Lovely painting. What a joyful kind of life you live. Hey, have you seen that grey cloud over your way yet? What's really happening there with the Icelandic volcano ash? Our Oz Governor General is camping at a hotel in Dubei - was on her way to Poland but got stuck.

Yes it was lovely Annie. Sadly Flo is now back at Uni.
Wendy we can't see the cloud at all!

Julie, to me it is amazing that you can't see the cloud or get any of the dust since it has traveled so far and wide.

sue and alison, thank you, but I'm afraid that as usual my dear daughter was incapable of keeping still for long enough for me to get a good likeness – although it's better than most.
