We stayed another day in Milos because none of us (apart from Robin) wanted to sail the next long leg of our journey in the winds that were forecast for today. So we all caught the bus to Paliochri beach and then had lunch in a taverna overlooking the beach. I spotted a lady’s profile in the cliff running down to the sea.

Hope you are enjoying your holiday, I certainly am! Loving your beautiful sketches and paintings. (Great dappled shadows in the postcard cafe) Mine soon, will be packing my pastels, although maybe a reduced palette thanks to Ryan Air's luggage restrictions. We are sailing too, the Venice Lagoon and Islands on a friend's boat. TTFN Fay

Oh my! How lovely. Is that sailing with a sail or on a motorboat? I went straight to google to see about planning for the next sailing holiday (when we can afford it in ooh about 10 years time) but couldn't find sailing boats for charter.

Not sure about hire, this one is a friend's has both sail and a motor. The couple are strongly against blogging (some are, of course) and although I never post names of friends or family I will miss not being able to blog freely about the trip. Will manage sights and the rest but a holiday is so much about times spent in good company as well. Ho humm...
