Gorhambury estate

gorhamburysmall
I can’t believe how long it is since I last posted, been busy with things and as I have nothing nice to say I think I’ll shut up. Anyway I’ve always loved the trees on this estate on the other side of St Albans so it was good to be alone focusing on their beauty.

Julie,

Landscape paintings rarely excite me, but this one is fabulous. Is it those wonderful clouds that are separately moving across the sky? Or the beautiful row of dark tree silhouettes placed in a row across the field. I'm glad you posted!!

Lovely piece of land. You live in a delightful part of England.

Thanks Shirley.I know what you mean about landscapes. I love this bit of St Albans and the unseasonably bright early spring day just emphasised everything. Wendy this part is particularly lovely.

Lovely landscape - especially like the way the clouds seem to be three-dimensional. Very peaceful and yet a bit surrealist-looking, too.
