Clarence Park bandstand

clarencepark
Gorgeous weather – and Xavier wanted to visit Clarence park in St Albans. We played in the children’s playground and had ice-creams. I gave Xavier a taste of my ice-cream and he liked it so much he said that next time he’s going to ask for a ‘moustachio’ ice-cream.

Cute! Don't we love these misnomers from small children. A somewhat less common pleasure is the one I get sometimes from mishearing what other people say, and getting something really fanciful or silly!

It not only looks like autumn, Julie, it FEELS like autumn-lovely.
We live on a very small farm-ranch
and Cris, 4 and 1/2 years old, just lost his first tooth. He was astonished. " Mommy," he said,"I need to go to the vet!"

I hear you, Judith. At a family gathering, my mom and I were having the VERY BEST talk until my sister said, " Don't you know that You and Mom have been talking about TWO different things for the last ten minutes?" Works for me.

Julie, I love pictures with a flood of sunshine -- and I DO love this one.

I gaze at it and very much smile and I'm sure it is because you have captured so much sunshine.
