Flo composite

flocomposite
Action man and his canoeing partner, chose the worst ever Easter weekend to attempt the 135 mile non-stop Devizes to Westminster canoe race. So, with temperatures below zero and the snow falling down around them, they set off at nine at night. Unfortunately a couple of tumbles into the water later and a severe attack of cramp meant that they had to abandon the venture.
So now I’m looking up banana recipes, to use up the 40 or so uneaten bananas.
These are a few sketches of Flo – as usual they bear no resemblance to the lovely original.

I like your version of the wekend much better. The tumbles into the water sound awful!

Don't know how close to the original they are but in all your sketches of the kids have a family resembelence, may be the artist (chuckle)

Julie,
Mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday....snow! Can't imagine falling into cold water like that.
Your patient daughter posing or do you just catch her reading etc.?
I put some links on the Geelong blog and had the devil of a time getting the <><><><> in the right places!

Lovely drawings. I used to call a neighbour of mine Action Man, reminds me of him when I read that name!
