Xavier posing

embankment
We were walking along the Embankment after a whistle-stop visit to the Tate art gallery when Xavier jumped onto this carved stone piece and posed saying ‘Mummy, Mummy, take a photo of me’, to which I replied ‘But I don’t have a camera with me’, so then he said ‘Well OK, take a drawing of me then’. I tried my best to be as quick as a camera.

This made me smile, "Take a drawing of me!" A sweet drawing and a sweet thing to say!

This is, by far, my favorite sketch on this page. Charming, fresh, innocent... I love it!
