Walking to school

Our walk across the Woodland Park. Xavier came up with a variation on the ‘don’t step on the lines’ game. We had to avoid the leaves, which was pretty challenging.

What a sweet picture! I look at my youngest daughter's artistic output in awe. I often think of making a blog just for her but then mine would look a bit meagre in comparison!

Julie, what a striking picture. For me it completely captures the beauty, simplicity, and mental ease of a walk in the woods.

You've totally drawn me in to a host of feelings which I had always thought was quite impossible without splashes of color. A very special picture that goes well beyond what a camera lens could find.

Julie your sketches of Xavier just get better and better and I think this is one of he best, it is so 'little boy from behind' and I love it.
