By the bluebell wood
After a morning buying fruit and veg from the market, I walked Rufus up past the bluebell wood. Now I know that most of the time the only people that really look at these sketchbloggy things are other sketchbloggers, so it was rather nice to have a passing walker ask if I was ‘that artist with the website’.

Wow! You're famous!
Beautifully done landscape! I really like it.
Ha! Fame at last!
Now you only need an article in The Guardian Online and before you know it you'll be getting a column in the Sunday newspaper like Wally!
I guess the stranger recognized the scenery and town pictures. Are there many art bloggers that you know of in your area? I don't know of any in Geelong - a city of about 700,000 people so there are sure to be some!

Delightful watercolour, Julie. I read about your family portrait project on Katherine's blog and am so glad I found it.
Nice to know you are recognised, lovely to see colour and your area again
