This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.
And talking about earning a living, if you need a good all round graphic designer please visit my business website to see if I can help you.
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here or have any requests please send an email to julie at julieoakleydesign dot com

Cool!
Lovely and chilled out!
So nice to get a feel for your house, too :-)
Thanks Mouse and Cream. Hashi in reality it's a little more cramped. Glyn you know me well, but I just ignored some bits (pretty sure there were two laundry baskets on the big table!)
Hey, the widescreen look is great and instead of your guy in the middle he's to the right. Lovely picture, and he's so relaxed. You are not typically English stereotype at all!

Thanks Glyn - as you can see I've deleted it. I hope that doesn't mean I'll get plagued by it now. I though the word verification would block it.
Your drawing is good and your washes make the image. Love your work.
You are a brilliant artist!
A very happy Christmas to you and your family.
I do love these type of sketches, loved ones at home, and this is wonderful. The composition is great. Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas!
What a warm cozy view and beautifully drawn too.
