This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.

Cool!
How does Illustrator work? Do you paint with a mouse?
I'm in the dark age with painting using computer programs. I just use Picasa for cropping pics and Photoedit (on another computer) to play with effects.
So what programs are out there - for free - to muck about with?

This is pretty cool! The drawings of Xavier below are exqusite!
Wendy - I need Illustrator for work - it's a vector drawing program so not as intuitive as a paint program - and it's not free. Inkscape is a free vector drawing program - but I warn you they are very difficult to use. You can use a mouse, though some people prefer a Wacom pad. A free photo editing and painting program (like Photoshop I believe) is the Gimp. The only free program I have downloaded is ArtRage which is very easy to use - if you type any of these names into Google, you should find their sites.
Thanks. I'll have a look tomorrow before going to our writing group. I have been setting up the pages for an 80 page book this week - with illustrations and we have to discuss final edits tomorrow.
