Despite the lurid colours, I think this looks a bit more like me. This is such fun! For more self-portraits visit Sparky

This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.

Julie: Each of these is so well done and so different -- I love the different 'looks' you've been able to achieve ...super super super!!
This challenge is great. This is the fourth self portrait I've done this year and they are getting closer to looking like me. One's own face is endlessly fascinating once you get over the depression at confronting the ageing process. I'm also enjoying playing with 'Painter'
Julie, I think the colors you used make this an extremely interesting portrait. The shadows are good. I really like the colors. I enjoyed both of your blogs. The black and white sketches and expecialy the poppy.
Yes, the eyes are much more you.
Marilyn, thank you for visiting and commenting.
Do you like my new glasses Rachel?
Love the glasses. Be thankful you don't have a five month old puppy in the house my new verifocals were chewed by Seamus.
Ouch!
