Illustration Friday - UNDER THE SEA
I’m very busy with work and my other art project, (do take a look and see if you want to join), so I’ve dug out an oldie from my art student days.

This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.
And talking about earning a living, if you need a good all round graphic designer please visit my business website to see if I can help you.
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here or have any requests please send an email to julie at julieoakleydesign dot com

So realistic!Great work!Love it.
Very nice work!
Your sites are full of small, beautiful details. I like your style :)
This is scrumptious, Julie!! I can just reach out and pick one up!
Lovely picture! We are on the same wavelength! I found an old pic of sea shells and posted it on geelong-visual-diary.blogspot.com a few days ago. It's the kind of painting I did when I was sixteen. When I was fifty I went back to uni and painted huge wildly expressionist or detailed abstracts. The huge paintings can't be put on line unless I take photos. Also, we had a fire in the back storeroom a few years ago and I lost some paintings. An incinerator fire that spread!
I've started small drawings again but am rather inhibited by the small size. A4 mainly.
