This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.
And talking about earning a living, if you need a good all round graphic designer please visit my business website to see if I can help you.
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here or have any requests please send an email to julie at julieoakleydesign dot com

Zizek is a superstar thinker, and despite being older than me just got married to a 26 year old underwear model see: http://huh.34sp.com/wrong/2005/03/24/scoop/ . He has some very interesting ideas, and I was thinking of them last night in bed. You see, I think in Julies' designer eyes the bed is a three column grid, consisting of four equal columns. Two in the middle for the main content, one for navigation and one to entice you off to other exciting features. Julie obviously takes up the main content and features column. I'm hanging on in the navigation column.
So how would Zizek see this. I don't think there's a conceivable connection with a Hitchcock film. However the main content area will be Ego (mans usual being/state) with the features column Superego (the infantile internalising of parental authority) and the navigation, Evil. Heavily influenced by Julie he'd see me desperately hanging to the edge of the family but rigorously trying to control it.
So there you have it - our bed deconstructed. Thank you Mr Zizek, I'd be delighted to hear how things are going in your bed with the young intellectual you just married.
That's his daughter you fool!
I apologise, Robin you were right the old perv is marrying someone young enough to be his daughter - I was looking at the wrong picture when I read the caption 'Analia y su papa"
