A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do

This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.
And talking about earning a living, if you need a good all round graphic designer please visit my business website to see if I can help you.
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here or have any requests please send an email to julie at julieoakleydesign dot com

OH YEA --- eye shadow next!! GREAT SKETCH!
Hi Julie,
What sort of pens/ pencils/ paint/ pastels do you use for your pics?
I've been inspired by your blogsite to think about posting some of my drawings and photographs, so Peceli and I have opened up another blog
http://geelong-visual-diary.blogspot.com so I hope we can keep posting every other day or so. Mainly about our little corner of the world, Geelong, Australia.
Wendy
Hi Wendy. This one is a Pentel brush pen. But I have a variety of different materials, some going back over 25 years to when I was an art student, so difficult to list them all. Also I sometimes colour things in using computer software - Photoshop, Illustrator and Painter. If you put a comment next to the particular picture I can let you know. Best of luck with your other blog _ I'll take a look
Greatjob!!!
