This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.
And talking about earning a living, if you need a good all round graphic designer please visit my business website to see if I can help you.
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here or have any requests please send an email to julie at julieoakleydesign dot com

The spots are a wonderful thing! Love the way you have incorporated Xavier's work with your own. So bright and vibrant. Do you use a marker pen or brush and watercolor?
Wow, I like it! I would say this is a digital collage, could be wrong?
lovely!
can i have earl grey in the red spotted mug, please? :)
Maggie this one was a brush pen.
Anthony I suppose it is. I drew the cups and used layers, masks and adjusted the hue of dots to create the different colours.
Vfm4 - Earl Grey is my favourite as well but you have to have it in the blue mug, because rooibos or redbush tea goes in the red mug and green tea goes in the green mug
These cups are lovely! Very carnivalesk!
I just want a whole set of your wonderful mugs. So when are you going to market them?
These are great. I'll take the green mug as long as it doesn't have green tea in it!
Great Collaboration! Beautiful colors.
Very nice !
What a great team you make! I love the three different colors and the heat rising from each mug.
Beautiful. I like all the colors.
