Drawings with gloves
It was so cold I kept my gloves on, but the silver lining was that as the ground was as hard as metal, I didn’t need to wash mud off Rufus.

This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.
And talking about earning a living, if you need a good all round graphic designer please visit my business website to see if I can help you.
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here or have any requests please send an email to julie at julieoakleydesign dot com

OH I REALLY LIKE THIS, JULIE! Love the loose, easy way you've done this landscape!
'Klein, aber fein.' (Small, but fine.) - That's what I think about your lovely pictures. They look like sketches, but I think it took longer to draw them. I enjoy your pictures.
Lin and Killoyle thank you so much. Killoyle I can be quite slow - you're right, sometimes it can take me a long time to produce something that looks as if it only took a few minutes
I can sympathise! It is really cold up here in the NE.
You'll have to ask Xavier to make you a hot curry to warm you up, Julie!
