Choir sketches

Flo has been a bit of a performer this week – Puck in a modern day musical extravaganza of Midsummer Night’s Dream at her school and a few days later in the County Youth Choir performance. I presume the boys’ school finds putting on dramatic performances more difficult because they can’t get the volunteers to play the female parts.

I love your verbal sketches as much as the visual. Especially your "blue" entry for Illustration Friday. It's been a while, but I would have had trouble sketching at a concert like this...seeing through the tears. On the other hand, it probably would have kept them at bay. These are really nice!

Oh thank you Lynn. Today I went to a play-school nativity play - even more of a tear jerker. The little shepherd kicking his lamb across the stage like Pele, the little boy proudly singing 'Away in a Manger' very loudly and very out of tune. The shy star weeping behind her tinsel. And I was wiping away the tears (and that was before the even younger children that included my Xavier came on!)
