Bye-bye October masthead
However sweet this little devil is, he’s too unseasonal. So for at least a little while we’ll have the Oriana at the top.

This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with caring for my family and earning a living.
And talking about earning a living, if you need a good all round graphic designer please visit my business website to see if I can help you.
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here or have any requests please send an email to julie at julieoakleydesign dot com

I love ships and like this big scale thing. Plus it only took a few weeks. With the greatest respect, and I don't want the locks changed when I get home tonight please, but how is this seasonal? Methinks you better start on the Christmas one now and it might just be up before Santa Comes with that breadmaker you are after.
Well we went on the Oriana in November and it gives me an excuse to create an image in the style of old 1940's posters.
Yeah the breadmaker and the exercise bicycle and how about a nice heron for the garden!
I like the idea of a ship on your masthead!
Thank you Caroline - you tell that man!
