The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are daughter – Flo, eldest son – Tom, second son – Hugo and third son – Xavier.

Now that's a real hand. My first bc hand had 6 fingers so you're ahead of me there.

wow. Great BC drawing! I see that your nails are turning bluish purple. When I saw this post first (before scrolling down and then found your Illo Friday broken post), I thought: wow. what a great nail polish color...he...he.. sorry :). But then i discovered that the fingers have been in an accident. Then I understood where they came from :).
However this drawing inspires me to try drawing with my left hand. Blind or not. So thanks for the inspiration!

I'm sorry to hear about your hand accident -- but at least it made for a really nice BCD! hehe. Love the colors too :-)
