EDM Chair drawing challenge

A chair in the darkened dining area drawn from the comfort of my settee. A bad back meant that you're stuck with what was in front of me.

This is a place where I regularly post personal artwork, good, bad or indifferent.
The characters that crop up regularly in this blog are husband – Robin, eldest teenager and only daughter – Flo, next teenager and eldest son – Tom, teenager second son – Hugo, five year old third son – Xavier, and red Staffordshire Bull Terrier – Rufus.
I'll try to reply wherever you comment but if I don't it's only because I'm overwhelmed with running a family and earning a living.
My two eldest have started a business venture selling artwork (mainly my paintings) to raise money for university. Please visit their site, Oakley Gallery to see what they are selling now.
If you want to buy prints of anything you see here or have any requests please send an email to flo at oakleygallery dot com

Might need your chair to fix my "Squash Shoulder"! Went to the chiropodist today and it seems to be a wee bit better.
Can't wait to get back to playing!
Hope your back gets better soon!
Wow - I'm impressed you've found an expert who can do shoulders as well as feet!
Thanks for asking after my back - it seems to be on the mend.
I thought it was funny when she started with my left foot to heel my right shoulder!
Even stranger when I go to restaurants and order a shoulder of lamb and get a leg instead!
She's a friend really and very versatile...Brain surgery next!
Really nice drawing.
