Lovely lunch stop

In the middle of summer, the hidden lush gardens in the centre of the Petit Palais made a beautiful, cool sanctuary to enjoy lunch.

My feet throbbing from trekking round almost every art gallery in Paris, I sat on the slope facing the Pompidou centre, sketching, while my sister managed to squeeze in a little more art viewing in the Atelier Brancusi.

St Albans Judo Club

Sadly our lovely judo club in the village has closed its doors for the last time. So we've taken Xavier to the nearest alternative club. I feel bad that I never got round to nominating the Sandridge club for a community award for being a fantastic asset to the village community.
